Kodi Pollard began her work in the mental health field in 2001 and within the past 19 years, has expanded her knowledge in providing services in mental health, substance abuse and prevention services. Over the years her roles included rehabilitation specialist, field service coordinator, case manager, case management specialist and technical assistance coordinator, senior prevention program field representative and currently mental health program specialist. Pollard currently works for DCCCA, Inc. a nonprofit organization providing social and community services that improves the safety, health, and well-being of those we serve and contract for Pathways to Promise, an interfaith assistance and resource center that provides virtual and in-person support to faith, spiritual and non-spiritual communities. As a woman of color who recovers from generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) and embraces her own personal journey, her motivation is to demystify mental health, help bridge the gap within our spiritual and non-spiritual communities.
