Dillon Browne is the coordinator of peer and recovery services at The Mental Health Association of Westchester. In this role, he provides administrative, managerial, and clinical oversight for MHA’s peer professionally run Sterling Community Center (SCC). SCC is a milieu-based support service in White Plains, N.Y., serving 100+ people diagnosed with behavioral health concerns annually. A graduate of Fordham University, Browne has trained in the clinical practice of cognitive behavioral therapy and cognitive therapy for recovery (CT-R) with the Beck Institute. He has seen clients for local Westchester, N.Y., private therapy practices and recently began seeing clients as a therapist for MHA’s White Plains Clinic. He identifies as neurodiverse/divergent and regards himself as a peer. He serves as the Hudson co-reginal coordinator for the New York Association for Psychiatric Rehabilitation Specialists, which regularly advocates on the state and national level for mental health providers, consumers and issues.
