Shannon Catauro is director of development for The Mental Health Association (MHA) of Westchester where she supports MHA's mission through fundraising, community engagement and communications. She is intimately involved in our many new initiatives and collaborations at the community-based nonprofit, leading internal and external communications efforts to build, expand and promote such work. Catauro is representing the members and work of the Westchester faith-based initiative at NatCon and she has a personal interest in the intersection of faith and mental health and wellbeing. A graduate of Syracuse University, she holds a dual degree in sociology and magazine journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. With a background in journalism, she weaves the craft of storytelling and the power of connection into her work in donor and community engagement.
