Cathey Duryea, LCSW, is the Regional Director of Behavioral Health at Access: Supports for Living. Cathey administers the operations of behavioral health services for nearly 11,000 people annually. Cathey also assists in development and implementation of the corporate strategic plan and ensures quality service delivery.
She received her MSW from Fordham University. Prior to Cathey joining the Access team she was the vice president of out of home care at Children’s Aid and Family Services, where she administered a milieu of child welfare programs, specializing in complex traumatic care. She has presented at several conferences regarding effective interventions working with traumatized youth who were born with Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome.
Throughout her career, Cathey has been passionate about providing a safe and nurturing environment where people can begin to heal from their trauma. She is committed to providing leadership that instills the belief and values in mental health recovery and hope to individuals diagnosed with mental illness
