Sandrine Pirard, MD, PhD, MPH is VP Medical Director of the Connecticut Behavioral Health Partnership (CT BHP). Dr. Pirard is a board-certified psychiatrist and ABAM-certified addiction medicine specialist with clinical, research, and public health training and experience. She completed her psychiatry and addiction training at Massachusetts General Hospital and McLean Hospital, Harvard Medical School. In addition to her medical degree, she obtained a PhD through the University of Liège, Belgium based on her research work completed at Harvard Medical School on the ASAM Criteria and a Master of Public Health (MPH) at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Dr. Pirard has held clinical positions in various levels of care at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center and University of Maryland Health Center and worked for the US Department of Human and Health Services (HHS) at the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA).
