Ravi N. Shah, MD, MBA is Chief Innovation Officer and Assistant Professor at Columbia University's Department of Psychiatry. As the founding Director of Columbia Mind Ventures, he aims to work with startups, investors, and technologcy companies to invest Columbia Psychiatry’s wide-reaching and deep intellectual capital into innovative new treatment paradigms to improve public mental health and addiction care around the world. Dr. Shah completed his MD and MBA from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and The Wharton School before joining Columbia for his adult psychiatry training. He previously served as Medical Director of Columbia Psychiatry's Faculty Practice, where he played an instrumental role in developing their ketamine program. In addition to clinical training, he was worked in finance, health care consulting, and with several mental health startups.
