Alyson Albano is the director of clinical quality for Discovery Behavioral Health. Serving 15 years in behavioral health care, Albano has experience in a wide range of levels of care, serving populations including, substance use disorders, eating disorders, gambling disorder, complex trauma, mental health disorders, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. Currently, her professional focus includes implementation of high-quality evidence-based clinical documentation, standardization to achieve value-based care, incorporating clinical outcomes into the treatment planning process and introducing a suicide prevention best practice framework. It is her priority to be able to achieve quality through lean documentation to ensure clinicians remain focus on patient care. Additionally, focus has been placed on delivering innovative quality methods through training and documentation by overseeing the Center of Excellence scorecard, an internal tool, used to measure indices of progress throughout the organization and, most recently, an opportunity to measure internal compliance and clinical outcomes.
