Anissa Lambertino, PhD, MPH
With more than 20 years of experience in data collection, analysis, interpretation, and visualization of complex health data, Anissa Lambertino has worked directly with state Medicaid directors, managed care organization and community partner executives, as well as healthcare providers.
Anissa has expertise in acquiring and developing publicly and subscription-based secondary data sources and has led multiple community health needs assessments, transformation, and Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) application projects.
As lead data analyst for multiple PACE application projects, Dr. Lambertino uses geospatially to inform demographic projections, chronic disease prevalence, mortality rates, social determinants of health, health equity, and time and distance estimates to healthcare providers.
For more than eight years, Dr. Lambertino has led advanced quantitative analyses of claims data using multiple liner, logistic, and fixed effects regression models.
Dr. Lambertino has played a key role in the analysis of Minnesota Medicaid and Massachusetts MassHealth claims to elucidate the association of social determinates of health with adverse health outcomes and costs among Medicaid and dually eligible beneficiaries in long-term services and supports (LTSS) and behavioral health programs.
She has designed dashboards and geospatial maps to make data understandable, approachable, and actionable for the end user with experience using SAS, SAS-callable SUDAAN, Stata, ArcMap, and Tableau.
Dr. Lambertino earned a doctorate in epidemiology with a specialization in occupational and environmental epidemiology from the University of Illinois at Chicago as well as Master of Public Health in epidemiology from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a bachelor’s degree in health science and sociology from Benedictine University.
