Patricia deSa is a director in the National Mental Health & Wellness Program in Kaiser Permanente, In this role, she oversees design, implementation and sustainment of mental health and addiction care delivery programs in eight regions across the country, including suicide prevention, Screening Brief Intervention and Referral to Treatment (SBIRT) and collaborative care management. deSa partners closely with KP's National Equity, Inclusion and Diversity office, to integrate equitable care principles into the mental health and wellness strategy, with a focus on data disaggregation, workforce training and support and implementation of evidence-based, equity-centered programs.
She is a 17-year member of Toastmasters International. During this time she has held numerous leadership positions, competed in several speech contests and most recently attained the high recognition offered by the organization, the Distinguished Toastmaster award. She has a passion for public speaking and creative presentations and enjoys coaching and mentoring others to bring their best voice and message forward.
