Denise P Davis, is Senior Training & Consultation Specialist with Rutgers The State University, UBHC, Behavioral Research & Training Institute, New Jersey Children’s System of Care Training & Technical Assistance Program.
Mrs. Davis is a national trainer, who has 25+ years of administrative, consultation, training, coaching and treatment experience in the areas of behavioral health, crisis management, substance abuse and criminal justice.
She has facilitated workshops and developed curriculum to empower behavioral health professionals’ growth through workforce development. At the heart of her work is Cultural Competence which Mrs. Davis believes is imperative to best practice when treating children & families and developing professional relationships.
Mrs. Davis is an advocate for children & families and supports their growth and development across the life span. She is certified as Competent Trauma Professional and as an Advanced Trainer in the Nurtured Heart Approach.
