Mary has had a career of 37 years in social/mental heath services and working for last 35 years for Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic, a Community Health Clinic with 65 unique service location in WA and Oregon. The Behavioral Health Services (BHS) department is one of 3 Licensed Public Mental Health Center in Yakima County, Washington State. BHS services are inclusive of: Specialty Services, Primary Care BH, Wraparound/Wise, Substances Use Disorder /Prevention and other Evidence Based Practices for young children.
Mary’s role over the year has been in direct services, clinical supervision and management of clinical programs. Her role has provided experiences in services to migrant/farm workers, children/youth, foster care and families who had various integrated treatment needs.
Currently as a Clinical Service Director she provided daily oversite to several team supervisor’s that support a total of 75 Clinician. (i. e. Psychiatrists, Nurse Practitioners, Psychologists, Social Workers, Case managers/Peer Partners and MA-C) and 30 Support Staff. Also involved in BHS administrative, quality and clinical work groups.

• Chair the DCFS Region 1 –South Advisory Committee
• Member of Behavioral Health Advisory Council (DSHS/ Health Care Authoirty State of WA)
• Member of the Cultural & Linguistic Council (SOC Yakima County)
• Appointment to the Disproportionality Advisory Committee (DSHS State of WA)
• Board Member of YMCA Membership
• Board Member YPAL –Yakima Police League
• Collaborations with area collages for college student interns placements and research projects
• Participate in various YVFWC (Medical/ Dental /Social Services) committees representing BHS as needed.
