It is important to include infants and young children in the mental healthcare system so that communities can lay strong foundations for improved mental health outcomes. Data is consistently showing the importance of the first few years of life but incorporating infant and early childhood mental health into current systems can be a challenge. This presentation will discuss one state’s journey towards successful implementation of infant mental health best practices.
