TP2 - Is Pennsylvania Ready for Tobacco-free Recovery? Policies, Beliefs and Barriers

Tobacco use remains high in Pennsylvania and presents challenges for those with behavioral health conditions as they are disproportionately impacted. The Statewide Tobacco-Free Recovery Initiative (STFRI) is advancing integration of evidence-based tobacco interventions into behavioral health settings and partnered with Public Health Management Corporation to develop and administer the STFRI Readiness Assessment on organizational readiness, knowledge, attitudes and practice indicators. We will highlight data collected and how it is used to inform future trainings and resources for behavioral health sites to become tobacco-free.
