Many states are moving toward new administrative models in behavioral health that has implications for consumers, treatment organizations, payment models and policy and regulation. This restructuring represents the future of behavioral health and aligns with practice transformations many treatment organizations are already making. We will highlight the work done in at least one state and why states are moving in this direction.

Examine how understanding the provider network, funding and other administrative complexities states are managing as part of the structure design process.
