Prioritizing quality of care and safety while upholding stringent regulatory requirements and clinical best practices can present challenges – especially at a large organization. At Discovery Behavioral Health, the Clinical Services and Quality Management Department evaluates activities within the organization objectively and department employees participate in bi-annual Center of Excellent reviews to identify specific barriers to achieving optimal patient care. Following through with items identified in the report, along with ongoing interdepartmental collaboration supports the delivery of high-quality care, employee engagement and sustainable organizational performance.
