Few providers have experience treating older adults with lifelong mental health struggles. Developing a culture of support embracing the whole person is especially important for recovery in older adults with mental health conditions. Providing appropriate support for this population involves increasing provider competency in issues specific to aging and enhancing skills to navigate the complex systems of care. This interactive learning event will give you the opportunity to participate in experiential exercises, case examples and small group activities. Providers of any specialty are welcome to attend, in the spirit of integrated whole person care.
