My name Michael Alexander Tidwell, but I go by Sasha, and I am an ORISE Fellow in the US Department of Energy's Weatherization Assistance Program. Since I was a kid, I have been deeply passionate about creating climate change and energy conservation, and creating a cleaner and more efficient energy system in the United States. I graduated from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2020 with a bachelors degree in Environmental Politics and Policy. Prior to my fellowship with WAP, I interned with several climate advocacy and energy focused non-profits, and I was an intern in the Weatherization and Intergovernmental Programs office at DOE.
