Indoor Air Quality Specialist
E3 INNOVATE, LLC
Nashville, Tennessee
Lesley is an Indoor Air Quality specialist with a master’s degree in Building Science from the University of Colorado, Boulder. She holds a national board certification in holistic nutrition through the National Association of Nutrition Professionals and is a member of the International Society for Environmentally Acquired Illness.
Her passion for sustainable, healthy buildings developed after taking an international sustainability course in Oslo, Norway, which eventually let to her position as a research engineer at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Golden, Colorado. Upon moving to Tennessee, however, exposure to mold in a rental house shifted the course of her life and her career. She now serves as the Indoor Air Quality Specialist at E3 INNOVATE where she bridges the gab between the health of the home and the health of the body. She blends her understanding of biology with building science to help homeowners and builders create healthier indoor environments.
In her free time, Lesley enjoys gardening, exploring new places, and dancing. You may have even witnessed her dance moves in one of the 2018 Home Performance Conference sessions in Philly.
