Bill Spohn is President and owner of TruTechTools.com. He holds a bachelor’s and master’s of science in Mechanical Engineering, and
over the last 30 years he has designed, marketed and sold a wide array of test and measurement products.
He has worked on BPI, RESNET, GAMA, AHRI, OMA, RSES, NATE, and ACCA Technical Committees, and holds three US patents in
instrumentation design.
Spohn regularly consults, teaches and writes on instrumentation applications in HVACR, building science, healthy homes, indoor air quality and weatherization.
Spohn is also host of the Building HVAC Science and RESTalk podcasts.
Bill is currently the Treasurer of the Building Performance Association, Board member for the Green Home Institute and on the Solar United Neighbors of PA advisory board.
