Blower Doors have now been widely used in weatherization work for over 30 years and began being used for code compliance testing 10 years ago. They are often used as the poster child of energy conservation efforts. This session will cover the basics of preparing a house for the test, testing options, getting good data and reviewing the results for accuracy. We will also discuss common errors made during a test and other uses for the blower door.
