Margaret (Maggie) Peinovich, PharmD is the new Director of Pharmacy Services for Medically Home partnering with organizations across the country to implement successful home hospital programs. She is transitioning out of a 5-year career as the Senior Pharmacy Manager of Operations for the Northwest Wisconsin Region of Mayo Clinic Health System based out of Eau Claire, Wisconsin. In that role, Maggie supervised operations for the inpatient practices across 5 hospitals as well as the infusion therapy, home infusion, oncology, and home hospital practices. Before her leadership roles, she was a clinical coordinator and staff pharmacist at Mayo Clinic Health System – Menomonie, Wisconsin where she practiced a combination of inpatient, oncology, anticoagulation services, medication therapy management, retail, and informatics. She received her doctor of pharmacy degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Pharmacy and completed a general practice residency at Abbott Northwestern hospital in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Maggie’s grandfather started an independent pharmacy in her home community of Durand, WI that was taken over by her father and is now managed by her older brother. She was raised in pharmacy and draws inspiration from her family’s history of providing personalized care to a small, rural community.
