Bio - Christopher Badgley
Christopher Badgley is Senior Director, Government Affairs, Policy, and Corporate Advocacy at Eisai, Inc. Badgley has extensive experience in government affairs and association management. After a successful career in sales and sales management, Badgley established and led the state government affairs function at Pfizer (formerly Wyeth) before moving to that industry’s trade association, the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America (PhRMA); first as Vice President of State Government Affairs, then as Senior Vice President Government and Public Affairs and as acting Deputy Chief of Staff, managing the pharmaceutical industry’s campaign to support passage of the Affordable Care Act. After serving as Senior Vice President Commercial Policy & State Government Affairs at CompTIA (formerly the Technology Association of America [TechAmerica]) and working on member recruitment and retention, as well as events and program development, Badgley returned to the pharmaceutical industry, to represent Daiichi Sankyo, Inc. as Senior Director, Public Policy and Government Affairs. As Executive Director and CEO of the Association of Dental Support Organizations (ADSO) Badgley led the organization, building the association to be the premier advocacy organization for the “business of dentistry.” Once again Badgley returns to the pharmaceutical industry in his new position at Eisai, Inc. He also served on several of the advocacy and public affairs professions’ executive committees and advisory boards.
