Kayla Szabo, PharmD, BCNSP is a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist with CarePathRx, LLC. Dr. Szabo graduated from Duquesne University in 2016 and completed a PGY-1 home infusion residency at Option Care Tempe, Arizona in 2017. After residency, Kayla started a position at Chartwell Pennsylvania, as one of the first hybrid pharmacists working in both the clinical and operational settings. In her new role, Szabo plays an integral role in the management of home parenteral nutrition patients, working with one of the largest outpatient nutrition support service practices within UPMC. Kayla has helped establish Chartwell/CarepathRx’s first PGY-1 residency program and precepts the nutrition support rotation.
