Director of Clinical Management

My current role is director of clinical management at a home infusion company. I am responsible for providing clinical operations support to the company's departments (intake, pharmacy, and nursing). I provide chronic referral reviews and detailed clinical assessments. As part of my assessment, I review all patient documentation, identify missing clinical documentation, and assist with qualifying the patient for therapy. To obtain the required information, I review clinical documentation to determine compliance with payor requirements and communicate with physicians.
I provide clinical training on immune globulins, specialty medications, policies, and procedures. Assist with patient care, quality assurance, and ACHC/URAC standards.
As a preceptor, I supervise pharmacy students. Furthermore, I develop training materials (webinars, PowerPoint presentations, templates, tests) for pharmacy teams.
