Patricia Anthony (Pat) is Senior Director of Organizational Growth at the American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition (ASPEN) in Silver Spring, Maryland. Pat, a registered dietitian, obtained a BS in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Connecticut and a MS in clinical nutrition from the University of Kentucky. She started her career working in direct patient care in both acute care, and home care. She then transitioned to the clinical nutrition industry, working internationally for Nestle Health Sciences as Head of Medical Affairs for over 10 years and then as Senior Manager of Medical Affairs for Fresenius Kabi as they brought their parenteral business to the US. In her current role, she takes the experiences from her career and works with ASPEN and its industry partners to educate healthcare professionals on the value of nutrition in medical therapy and safe clinical practice.
