DEANNE BIRCH – BIO
Deanne completed the Health Care Management program at the University Of Utah College Of Health in 1998 prior to starting her own infusion pharmacy in Aug 1998 with partners. Infusion Innovations was later acquired by Amerita specialty Pharmacy in August 2007. Deanne remained with Amerita until 2011 providing branch training for intake and Medicare compliance until 2011 when she started her own consulting company.
Hicap Inc Consulting offers advocacy and training in Medicare regulations and program integrity applicable to home infusion providers. Her knowledge and focus on the intake and reimbursement arena for home infusion offers branch evaluations and risk assessment along with recommendations for training and implementing best practices to avoid reimbursment pitfalls. Deanne has over 30 years of experience helping providers develope and implement successful processes to meet compliance with Medicare and avoid those unfavorable audit reviews.
