Often times, patients will not admit they don't understand or cannot read and comprehend educational materials for home infusion services. This can lead to undesirable patient outcomes. This session will review how to identify patients with literacy issues, how to assess their ability to learn and participate in their care, and how to develop a plan to meet patient needs and ensure positive outcomes.
