Today’s diverse patient populations require clinicians to be aware of patient gender identification that differs from biologic presentation. Participants will learn how to manage patients who identify as transgender and how that impacts clinical care management including dosing, pregnancy and teratogenicity, lab monitoring, and more.

Review of LGBTQIA terminology to have an understanding to be able to effectively manage this patient population how to effective communication using appropriate pronouns.
