Hazardous drugs are those that can be harmful to healthcare personnel. Major contamination risk points are by touch contamination or by inhalation. USP 800 is designed to protect healthcare personnel by establishing standards for minimizing potential contamination. This session will review the key training, facility design, and work practices used.
