Employee burnout is on the rise. Health care workers, in particular, are feeling the negative consequences of the pandemic. It is critical that employees begin to recognize signs of burnout in themselves and in their colleagues and learn strategies for self-care. In addition, language matters when working with diverse individuals and can have a negative impact on employee morale and on the organization. This session will draw upon principles of positive psychology to explain ways of reducing employee burnout and of increasing resiliency and well-being.
