Melody M. Hernandez, PhD, MD, BSN, RN, works as the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) Telehealth Registered Nurse for the NICU at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Miami, Florida. She acquired her ADN and BSN from EDP University in Puerto Rico. She started as a volunteer in Miami Children’s Hospital and continued to become a Registered Nurse with organization throughout the name change to Nicklaus Children’s Hospital, now going on 7 years at a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Meanwhile, Melody worked full time and obtained her MS and PhD in Biomedical Sciences from University of Science, Arts and Technology 2018 and 2019 respectively. The Albert Einstein Prize was awarded to her for the research in nutritional ketosis, where she presented a poster in Experimental Biology (Orlando, Florida) in 2019. Most recently, Georgetown American University granted her degree of Doctor of Medicine in June 2022.
