This session features work broadly in the area of traumatic brain injury (TBI). Presenters will assess persistent post-concussion symptoms in a preseason sample of adolescent student athletes with history of concussion. Further work will discuss the use of network theory to understand the structure of post-concussion symptoms in high school athletes. In addition, presenters will evaluate interactions between medical comorbidities and gender in a diverse sample of military Veterans with TBI history. Additional research in this session will examine cognitive and psychiatric function in military service members and Veterans with and without history of lifetime blast exposure.

Analyze effects of lifetime blast exposure on cognitive and psychiatric outcomes of military service members and veterans.
