Dr. Cook conducts neuropsychological evaluations through the MassGeneral Hospital for Children™ Sport Concussion Clinic. He is joining the faculty of Harvard Medical School as an Instructor in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. He also holds a clinical appointment at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital. His research program is focused on the emotional and academic consequences of sport-related concussion and mild traumatic brain injury among children and younger adolescents particularly those with pre-existing psychiatric and learning vulnerabilities, such as ADHD. Dr. Cook serves on the Sports Concussion Advisory Group to the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, working to identify and address priorities in clinical care and research regarding sport-related concussion and injury prevention.
