Staff Neuropsychologist

Janice C. Marceaux, PhD, ABPP is a staff neuropsychologist and Clnic Director of the Neuropsychology Consult Service at the South Texas Veterans Health Care System. Through the VA, she is the primary investigator on multiple IRB-approved studies, including a clinic database study and a study investigating the utility of a nonpharmacological group intervention for individuals with dementia. She teaches undergraduate and graduate courses online for McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana, where she supervises multiple senior thesis projects each year.
She earned her PhD from the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) in 2011, completed her internship training in neuropsychology through the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System, and completed her two-year postdoctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology at the South Texas Veterans Health Care System.
