Jacob earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology at Abilene Christian University. He continued on to earn his doctorate in clinical psychology at Wheaton College. Jacob completed his predoctoral internship at QLI in Omaha, Nebraska, where his training was focused in clinical neuropsychology and rehabilitation psychology. He is currently completing his postdoctoral fellowship in neuropsychology at Pine Rest in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
Jacob has experience working with diverse groups of clients in academic medical centers, rehabilitation hospitals/facilities, private practice clinics, and a college counseling center. His main areas of interest are conducting Neuropsychological evaluations for a wide range of neurocognitive disorders and presentations across the lifespan, as well as providing psychotherapy for individuals experiencing mood disorders, anxiety, spiritual/religious issues, and adjustment/life transition issues.
