Carolina Pereira is the program lead for Ochsner's Care Ecosystem Program for dementia. She received a bachelor's degree in Psychology at Universidad de Los Andes in Bogotá, Colombia. Carolina then completed two Master's degrees, one in Clinical and Health Psychology at Universidad de Los Andes and one in Psychogerontology at Universitat de Barcelona, in Spain. In her current position she supports the onboarding of a new grant that will enroll more than 200 participants to the Care Ecosystem Program and provides individualized care-management to persons living with dementia and their caregivers. Carolina is also involved in research and is interested in cross-cultural neuropsychology and understanding health disparities in dementia. She plans to pursue a PhD in Clinical Neuropsychology in the following year.
