Aruna is a third-year student in Nova Southeastern University's Clinical Psychology PsyD program with a concentration in neuropsychology. Her interest in neuropsychology has developed from her curiosity in understanding others from a deep and comprehensive perspective regarding mood, behavior, thoughts, and overall cognitive functioning. During her placement as a therapist in the Child, Adolescent, and Family Services Program at the Psychology Services Center at Nova Southeastern University, she referred clients to neuropsychological testing and recieved the tremendous insight it revealed in clarifying diagnosis, and treatment. From this experience, she learned the importance of integrating neuropsychology and psychotherapy. She hopes to continue contributing to research in the field of psychology.
