Stephanie Grasso is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences at the University of Texas at Austin. Her research investigates neurologically-based communication disorders within the context of bilingualism. She is interested in examining bilingualism as a contributor to cognitive reserve, optimizing treatment for bilingual adults with aphasia, and utilizing neuroimaging to investigate variability in treatment responsiveness. Stephanie works primarily with historically underserved populations from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds in order to address health disparities among historically marginalized populations.
