Delivery of care in pediatric neuropsychology rapidly evolved over the last two years in the context of a global pandemic. While research has been limited to guide clinicians and researchers, evidence is growing to support provision of remote tele-neuropsychological services. This presentation will review research on pediatric tele-neuropsychology and describe how a neuropsychology service in a large pediatric hospital has managed in pandemic times with a discussion of important practical and ethical consideration when providing remote pediatric assessment services.
Learning Objectives:
Summarize recent research on pediatric tele-neuropsychology
Describe provision of pediatric neuropsychological services in a large pediatric hospital during a global pandemic
Discuss practical and ethical considerations when conducting assessment of pediatric patients via tele-neuropsychology methods
