Donna Campbell is a member of the Arizona Association for Gifted and Talented Advocacy Committee, having served as chair for eight years. Since moving to Arizona in 2004, Donna has been actively involved in gifted education as a teacher, consultant, writer, professional development provider and advocate, serving twice as President of AAGT. Previously in Minnesota, she was a classroom teacher, a gifted specialist, a district coordinator of High Potential services, an adjunct instructor at Hamline University, and a teacher-facilitator for a school-within-a school for highly gifted students.
Donna is the recipient of the AAGT Sanford J. Cohn Lifetime Achievement Award for Expanding Resources and Opportunities for the Education of Arizona’s Gifted Children and the recipient of the NAGC David W. Belin Advocacy Award for Ongoing Advocacy for Gifted Students in the State of Arizona.
She currently serves as chair of the NAGC Public Policy and Advocacy Committee.
