Tiffany Blassingame is the Head of School at The Ferguson School. Throughout her work as an educator, she has developed curriculum and instructional programming, provided instructional coaching and professional development for elementary, middle, and high school principals and their teachers, served as a reading specialist and education activist, and taught primary grades. For the past 20 years, Tiffany has had varied teaching experiences in both private and public schools, and she has coordinated academic support to connect students, families, and teachers with necessary support inside and outside of the classroom. She holds endorsements in both reading and gifted education.
Tiffany also supports racial diversity, inclusion, and equity in both the public and independent school sectors. She has presented at local, national, and world conferences on various topics including “Underrepresented Gifted Populations in STEM,” “Implementing Affinity Groups in Elementary, Middle, and High Schools,” “Belonging While Brown,” and “Representation Matters.” Tiffany has a passion for equitable identification and support for talented learners.
