Ms. Baker is a strong advocate for student growth at all levels: all students deserve to reach their fullest potential. Ms. Baker’s insights into the competing agendas and inherent conflicts of time and territory that GT teachers must navigate are based on over two decades of service and leadership in public schools. While NJDOE allows for local choice in delivery of gifted services, Ms. Baker is a proponent of the powerful continuum model. This model combines the strengths of several approaches, providing many portals to growth opportunities.
