Rebecca M. Johnson, Ed.S. is a doctoral candidate at the University of North Texas, Educational Psychology, GT. She earned her M.Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction from UWF, and she earned her Ed.S. in Educational Psychology, Gifted & Creative Education from UGA. Her research interests include parenting in the context of giftedness, social-emotional development of gifted individuals, equity in gifted education, and the intersection of giftedness and creativity. She currently serves as assistant editor for the Journal of Advanced Academics and as co-chair for the NAGC Research and Evaluation Network Graduate Student Committee.
