As the Chief Innovation Officer of the Franklin Township Community School Corporation, Lynlie collaborates with educators to build cohesiveness in student service programs to meet the needs of all students. Her leadership provides for the coordination of English Language Learners, the High Ability program, School Counseling, MTSS (Multi-Tiered Support Systems), Inclusive Leadership for Equity, and State and Federal grant funding. Lynlie’s passions are building capacity in others, leading educators toward empathy in social/emotional learning, advocating for HA ELL learners, and creatively writing grants to fulfill the diverse needs of students in grades K-12. Lynlie earned a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from the University of Indianapolis; a Master of Education and Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University; an Educational Specialist degree and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Educational Leadership and Administration from Indiana State University. Lynlie’s professional experience includes teaching intermediate levels for twelve years in the Franklin Township Community School Corporation at Adams Elementary and Kitley Intermediate School. She served as an Instructional Coach for three years at Thompson Crossing Elementary and the District level. During this time, she was named Teacher of the Year in 2009 at Thompson Crossing Elementary. She was the principal of Wanamaker Elementary, Kitley Elementary and Adams Elementary from 2010-2018. She is a member of the ISCA, ASCA, NAGC, IAG, ASCD, and is a School Safety Specialist. Lynlie is also a graduate of the Teacher Leadership Academy, Indiana Principal Leadership Institute and served as a mentor for IPLI. Lynlie has served in Franklin Township for 28 years. Lynlie has presented at National Conscious Discipline Institutes in Orlando and in Texas, the Indiana Association of the Gifted conference, and the Association of School Curriculum and Development conference in Indianapolis. Lynlie lives in Indianapolis with her husband, Brian and has three sons.
