Dr. Bahar is an Assistant Professor of Gifted and Creative Education (GCE) in the Department of Educational Psychology at University of Georgia. Dr. Bahar serves as the associate editor for the Gifted and Talented International, and he is in the editorial board of the Gifted Child Quarterly and Gifted Education International journals. His research interests include mathematical talent, problem solving, and excellence gaps in STEM. Dr. Bahar is the recipient of numerous awards including, Math Hero of the Year Award and Edith May Sliffe - Distinguished Teaching Award.
