Nicole Mattingly, M.A., is a Doctoral Student in Educational Psychology at the University of North Texas, a SENG Doctoral Fellow, and a certified SENG Model Parent Group Facilitator. A former Instructor and biochemical researcher at University of Colorado, PTA President, and Rehab Technician; Nicole parents two variously identified HG, PG, & 2E children. Bringing a unique perspective to the development of curriculum, teaching, and parenting of gifted children; Nicole’s research at UNT regards acceleration outcomes; developmental theory; parent practitioners; & interventions targeting social, emotional, & academic needs of gifted children and their families.
