Donna Y. Ford, PhD., is a distinguished professor in the College of Education and Human Ecology at The Ohio State University. She is in the Dept. of Educational Studies. She is a faculty affiliate with the Kirwan Institute and the Center for Latin American Studies. Ford focuses extensively on racial inequities in gifted education, particularly for Black students. She is the author of the Bloom-Banks' Matrix and addresses anti-racist, culturally responsive education in her professional endeavors. Ford is the most prolific author on gifted Black students, with over 300 publications and 15 books. Dr. Ford consults with schools, organizations, and legal institutions. Dr. Ford has served on NAGC's Board of Directors, and is co-founder of the G-RACE SIG. She has received dozens of awards for her work. More information can be found at www.drdonnayford.com.
