In this session the three authors will provide a description of the need for these three new measures of general ability, especially as it relates to equitable identification of students for gifted programs. Emphasis will be placed on universal testing using local and national norms. Research findings will be provided which support the validity of the Verbal, Nonverbal and Quantitative tests. Implications for placement and instruction will be provided.
