Short description: The value of retrospective studies of emotionally-charged, psychologically-traumatic life events is well documented. This interactive session describes a first-stage exploratory, retrospective investigation of the psychosocial development among gifted LGBTQ individuals who came out after age 30. Their challenges and how they coped are emphasized for their utility in working with questioning adolescents.
