How can teachers help gifted students investigate the world, weigh other perspectives, and communicate effectively? Learn how to facilitate activities that create globally competent students.
Learning Outcomes: Participants will:
Articulate how topics in E-Ignite curriculum units might develop and enhance gifted students' capacity for the exploration of equity, justice, and inclusion
Connect activities from Problem-Based Learning (PBL) units to global competence standards and other social justice frameworks
Explain how activities focused on global competence have the potential to develop student leadership and social skills
